RaceTec has two pricing models, and you may choose either one depending on your
needs and future plans.
NOTE: Both pricing models require annual licence payments.
RaceTec will cease to operate if you choose not to renew your licence. Your data
will be still be accessible through any tool that can access a Microsoft SQL
Server database, however you will not be able to access or change the data
through RaceTec.
This model is recommended for professional race timing companies and anyone else who
is planning to take their timing business to a new level. There is no initial purchase cost. Instead an annual licence fee
is payable in
advance, which entitles you to the following:

Assistance in getting started and also any time in the future when you have any
questions or when you have an unusual or complex race.
A free copy of RaceTec Mobile, which
runs on any cell phone or PDA running the Windows Mobile operating system. It
provides a live commentator display, results, make updates, and use it as a
manual backup.
Free access to the SMS module. You only pay for the SMSs you
send.
You can request changes or improvements. And so can all the other
RaceTec users, so if someone else comes up with a good idea, you also benefit.
If you buy the Live-to-Web module, you get free, unlimited use of the RaceTec
