Most results systems are measured on the quality if their commentator
(announcer) display. RaceTec produces a well presented, powerful and un-equalled
display that provides an announcer with useful and up-to-date information. An
informed announcer can make the difference between a good and bad timing job.
Below are some samples of what is possible with the Racetec display.
A display can run off any timing mat. As entrants cross it their name and
details will appear on screen, generally scrolling from the top down, so that
the most recent entrant appears at the top. |

This is a display produced towards the end of an Ironman race. The bottom image
has had the 'detail' line turned on, displaying the leg times and some bio
information the entrants provided when entering.
One of the entrants is highlighted in yellow - that indicates a possible top 3
category winner.
Note that each image has different color lines. The entire is display is
configurable - font height, font color, background color, column widths, column
headers, etc. |

This image shows a typical display used at a race involving entrants doing
multiple laps of a course.
In this example, the option to show the leaders on the top line has been
selected. Subsequent timing mat crossings will scroll below the top 2 lines.
Other options can show a simple scrolling screen, or a simple leader screen,
whereby the top 20 or so entrants will display in the order they crossed the mat
- perfect for criterium races. |

This display was used at a race in Spain. Marathon competitors raced in a
'North' or a 'South' team. The winning team was the one with the lowest average
time.
The display updated the average time and number of finishers as they entrants
crossed the line. |
